Impersonal Love

She wrote that she's sad, that her teacher doesn't love her, etc. etc., and she feels no love...

I wrote: “S, love is not a personal small matter -- it's HUGE -- it's the very core of the universe. The Bible says love is god. It's much bigger than the things of the mind, pities, sorrow, cravings, ways of the self.

In the morning go out in nature and be very quiet inwardly -- no chatter -- no discussion -- just quietly smell nature, see, hear. Love is there.

The habit of mind/tradition is to think of love as something you systematize and put in the box and own. Break free. Smile.”
