On Law, Ethics, Scams, Corruption, Etc.
By Reza Ganjavi
“The study of law is sublime, and its practice vulgar.” – Oscar Wilde.
I like study of law but not practicing it. I grew up around law -- our family and friends being mostly judges and lawyers -- and have studied it and practiced it as a full-time lawyer representing myself when I was a victim of gang cyber stalking and racist hate crimes.
As a matter of principle:
I respect others rights and I expect others to respect my rights.
I never start a fight but I take my rights seriously and defend them fiercely.
I am very non-litigious -- I dread litigation and try to avoid it as much as possible, unless I'm forced into it as a last choice, as has happened before. I go out of my way to find a peaceful solution before I consider filing a lawsuit.
I have also written many complements to praise people and companies. The essays/articles below are as a result of cases and incidents where
I tried to protect my rights
Or others / my friends were involved and needed help
Or cases I was not involved with but of are interest from a legal/ethical standpoint
