Over the years I've seen so many products counterfeited by the Chinese, I find it disgusting. For example, several great inventions in medicine were immediately copied by the Chinese. These medicines cost about 1 BILLION DOLLARS each to research, invent, test and get approved, and the damn Chinese counterfeiters just steal the formulation, pound out the production, and dump it on Ali Baba etc. for a fraction of the price. Most companies who are victims of this shameless theft make the mistake of not going after the thieves, while legally they could.
Here's one example: Chinese counterfeiter, Cato-Chem (see section below).

Recently I came across a Mad Hippie look-alike triple vitamin C cream advertised on Amazon for a fraction of the price. The brand was grayed out. I ordered it out of curiosity. This is what I discovered:
The product has copied the artwork and the ingredients list of Mad Hippy. On Amazon the name is grayed out but on the box it is written Jaysuing - sure enough, a Chinese brand of cosmetics - and the product smells like shit -- some cheap synthetic perfume. So I assume the Mad Hippy formulation is just lip service and the ingredients are not the same. Amazon gave me a full refund and the counterfeiter didn't even want their shit product back so it went straight into the garbage can.
Of course on Amazon's Jaysuing page the product is not posted because it's counterfeit - but their name is on the box with Mad Hippy artwork, ingredients, etc. -- if this is not thievery I don't know what is.

Illegal Chinese Counterfeiter, Cato-Chem stealing money from Karyopharm while Karyopharm’s in my view: weak CFO Mike Mason and weak Legal Counsel Mike Mano and weak CEO Richard Paulson sit there twiddling their thumbs because they’re weak.

This counterfeiter: CATO-CHEM (CATO-CHEM.COM) shamefully advertises sale of Karyopharm’s product, online, even on YouTube, and our rice pudding weak management team and in my view: weak Legal Counsel Mike Mano and weak CFO Mike Mason, seem to just sit there uselessly and look baffled and will probably do nothing as they did nothing before while short sellers criminally disparaged our product using their puppets. So Karyopharm management is a perfect punching bag for the shorts who managed to get the price from 20's down to 2's. That's how weak our management is, especially on the legal- and financial- management side, but the buck stops at the CEO and the weak CEO Richard Paulson better turn around this ship or take a hike. So far he's been a total failure as judged by devastation in shareholder value which started while he was part of the useless Board of Directors who keep giving themselves fat salaries and bonuses no matter how much damage is done to shareholder value as result of company's inept mismanagement. The bright lights are the medical side and sales management, but even the sales side is negatively impacted because the financial/legal side are weak and are perfect punching bags for the shorts. So CFO Mike Mason wants to double the number of outstanding shares so he can keep diluting the daylight out of shares as he's done before, and donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to charity while the company is losing money and bleeding cash -- instead of properly managing the runaway expenses and shifting the corporate culture away from the “fun science lab that feels permanently entitled to shareholder funding”, a culture that was built by the last disaster CEO Mike Kauffman (good scientist/doctor) -- to a lean, performant organization that's focused on building shareholder value through bringing great medicines to market. That's what the management was hired to do but they forget that. They seem to feel entitled to shareholder money. And the same story with Mike Mano the Legal Counsel. Dumbfounded! Rice Pudding!
Mike Kauffmam, Karyopharm's terrible former CEO hired the other two Mikes -- MM -- even rhymes for Multiple Myeloma -- because Kauffman was a weak CEO (despite being a great doctor/scientist) and weak CEOs hire people who are even weaker than themselves otherwise they feel threatened (whilst A+ CEOs bring people who are better than themselves). A great team is comprised of great players. Not ours. We have some weak players and people wonder why the shares are kicked around like a used deflated ball. Our team just knows how to bring excuses.
I have a price quote for Selinexor from this counterfeiter company in China and our management sits there twiddling their thumbs. Let me guess Mike Mano: it’s not your problem right? That’s what Rice Pudding thinks too. You always have an excuse. And Mike Mason couldn’t give a damn apparently – he’s too busy counting his beans and losing sight of the big picture. How many shareholders have you ever called Mike Mason? Let me guess: Zero? Yes IR reports to you!
Mike Mano, let me take another guess: it's Antengene problem right? WRONG. Even if the contract says they're responsible to enforce IP in their region even if a Chinese company is selling world-wide including in your territory -- it is still your problem. How many times have you called Antengene to shake their cages about this? Let me guess: ZERO.
